Bread machine version of peanut nougat
Overview
I’ve always wanted to make nougat, but I don’t have a microwave. I’m afraid of using a pot to melt the marshmallows and I’m afraid of sticking to the pan, and I’m afraid of the trouble of boiling the sugar myself, so I’ve been procrastinating for a long time. I just made it now, and I made good use of my prize bread machine. The bread bucket is not afraid of sticking at all. I can make it in ten minutes with the jam function. It’s very convenient and fast. I have to use such a good bread machine, right?

Ingredients
Steps
-
First, wash the peanuts and roast them in the oven at 150 degrees for about 20 minutes
-
After roasting, wait for the peanuts to cool down completely before rubbing the skins. Rubbing the skins is not troublesome. Just pick the peanuts with your hands and the skins will fall off by themselves. Then blow the skins to the ground and sweep them off.
-
Weigh the required ingredients. The peanuts can be slightly pressed with a rolling pin
-
Pour the butter into the bread bucket first, then pour the marshmallows, put it back into the bread machine, and press the jam program
-
The jam program is to heat it first and then stir it. When you hear the stirring sound, pour the milk powder in
-
After the milk powder has been mixed well, pour out the peanut kernels
-
Use a spatula to move the marshmallows from the sides to the middle, mix the peanuts and stop the process
-
Line the chopping board with plastic wrap, pour the nougat on the plastic wrap, cover it with plastic wrap, and use a rolling pin to roll it to the required thickness
-
After completely cooled, cut into small pieces
-
You can wrap it in beautiful candy paper as a gift, or you can just put it in a bucket and eat it alone
-
There is very little stickiness in the bread bucket, right? It only takes ten minutes. It’s faster and saves money
