-
Clean the conch and brush it with a brush or steel wool until it looks whiter like this.
-
Pour cold water into the pot, mouth facing down, put a few slices of ginger, a spoonful of cooking wine, and cover the conch with water.
-
After boiling over high heat, remove the floating foam and cook for another 10 minutes. The length of time depends on the size of the conch.

It's not good to eat uncooked seafood, so I would rather cook it for a while. Although the taste may not be that good, it is at least safe and hygienic. Cook the conch until the black top falls off.
-
Place the conch on a plate and use chopsticks or toothpicks to slowly pick out the conch meat. Be careful, otherwise it would be a waste if you break it in half.
-
The conch has a green gallbladder, which is bitter and needs to be removed before eating. The sauce can be prepared with light soy sauce, vinegar and ground ginger. For those who know how to eat mustard, it is also delicious to add some mustard.

The conch is very big. Don’t throw away the shell after eating. Clean it and dry it. You can use it as an ornament or as a toy for children. Put it in your ear to listen to the whirring sound of the wind. I use this shell to grow succulents, which are also very beautiful and unique in shape.
