  1. Clean the hawthorns, cut each hawthorn in half, and remove the hawthorn core and ends.

  4. I used a non-stick baking pan. Rock sugar and water in a 1:1 ratio.

  5. Boil the rock sugar until it becomes a light brown viscous syrup. ,

  6. Thread the hawthorn skewers and pour them into the soup.
