The weather is getting colder, and it’s time to eat roasted sweet potatoes again. When I was a kid, every year when the weather got colder, the cries of roasted sweet potatoes would be heard on the streets. The aroma was so tempting!

Choose small or thin sweet potatoes so they are easier to roast. Wash the sweet potatoes and pat dry.

Preheat the oven, place the sweet potatoes on the grill, middle and lower racks, and bake at 220 degrees for one hour. Adjust the time according to the size of the sweet potatoes.

The roasted sweet potatoes can be easily pierced with chopsticks. If they are a bit hard, continue roasting for a while.

The roasted sweet potatoes are especially sweet and chewy when eaten hot! A must have for cold weather.
