Nougat
Overview
Homemade nougat has a fragrant taste, is sweet but not greasy, and is not hard or sticky. Because my children like to eat it so much and it is healthier to make it myself, I made it several times before the holidays and distributed it to family and friends to make healthy snacks for the children during the holidays. Hehe! I’m a little bit too excited to stop! If I wasn't busy, I would continue to do it.

Prepare all the ingredients

Pure white marshmallows chopped

I roasted the peanuts a few days ago. Roasting peanuts is very simple. Preheat the middle rack of the oven to 200 degrees and bake for 15 to 20 minutes (depending on the size of the peanuts)

Melt butter in non-stick pan

Add chopped marshmallows

Bring to a simmer and melt, stirring constantly until the butter is incorporated into the marshmallows

Turn off the heat, add milk powder and mix well

Add chopped peanuts and mix well

Take out of the pot

Use a rolling pin to flatten

After cooling, cut into the size you like
