  2. Put water in a basin, add an appropriate amount of cherries and an appropriate amount of rock sugar. This choice is based on personal taste. If you like desserts, put more rock sugar. I think rock sugar is better than white sugar, because white sugar will make the mouth sour. Cook until the rock sugar melts. Boil the pot and cook for another 5 minutes. It is basically OK. Longer time will damage the shape of the cherries

  5. If you want to store it for a longer time, you can do further work. Put the bottle filled with cherries in the pot with water and put it into the pot to boil. Boil for another 5 minutes. Cover the lid while it is hot. It can be stored for a longer time. Of course, this also depends on whether the lid is tightly closed!
