Handmade Nougat
Overview
This is my own wedding candy, so I have researched several versions and you can adjust it appropriately according to your own taste.

Steps
-
Melt the butter in the pan. Make sure to keep the heat on low during the entire process because the marshmallows can easily burn
-
After the butter melts, put the marshmallows in and mix well
-
Quickly mix marshmallows and butter. This is one of the keys to making nougat soft and hard. If you like it harder, you can wait for about half a minute after the marshmallows and butter melt. Then pour in the milk powder and mix quickly
-
Pour in the chopped peanuts. You can also add some nuts or dried cranberries here. Because I added some sesame and walnut powder to the milk powder, the color came out a bit dark
-
Pour the evenly mixed nougat into the mold, flatten it, let it cool down at room temperature, and then put it in the refrigerator for a while
-
Take it out of the mold, cut into pieces, and wrap it in sugar paper. If you are not going to eat it, it is best to store it in a sealed jar or refrigerator
