Wash half of the live ear and tear it into small pieces

Soak peach gum and saponin rice for about ten hours in advance and wash well

Add water to the soup pot and put in the washed live ears, peach gum and saponin rice. Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for half an hour. Add an appropriate amount of rock sugar and simmer for about 5 minutes until the rock sugar dissolves
