Dragon fruit yogurt ice cream
Overview
When the weather is hot, I want to eat ice cream, but most of the ice cream and ice cream sold outside have additives. What's even more detestable is that many cream ice creams do not contain milk at all, but are blended with creamer containing a large amount of trans fatty acids. Other ice creams with flavors such as strawberry and chocolate only add strawberry flavor or cocoa butter substitute. Today’s ice cream is made with homemade plain yogurt and red pitaya puree. It’s really easy to make, it’s satisfying, and most importantly, you can eat it with confidence!

Steps
-
Make your own original yogurt in advance: pure milk, yogurt starter
-
Mix the room temperature milk and yogurt starter evenly, pour it into an oil-free container, and put it in the oven at a low temperature of about 40 degrees to ferment for 6-7 hours
-
This is homemade plain yogurt. Take it out and let it cool, then put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours before eating
-
Peel the red dragon fruit and remove the flesh
-
Place in a blender and puree
-
Pour the puree into the pot, add a small amount of sugar and cook until melted (my dragon fruit is not too sweet, so I added a little sugar)
-
This is the prepared ice cream ingredients: plain yogurt, dragon fruit puree, maple syrup
-
Prepared ice cream molds
-
Add appropriate amount of red dragon fruit puree to the yogurt
-
After stirring evenly, taste it and add maple syrup or honey
-
I made two colors, dark and light, using fruit puree to adjust the color
-
Pour the two kinds of milk paste into the molds respectively
-
Place it in the refrigerator to freeze for an hour, then insert a small wooden stick, and put it in the refrigerator again overnight
-
Rinse the shell with cold boiled water to remove it from the mold
