Warm Foot Baby Homemade Yogurt

Overview

Everyone is familiar with foot warmers, right? Foot warmers provide us with warmth in winter. I still remember the days before laptops. When I was sitting in front of a desktop computer playing online games or working all night long, I relied on the foot warmers to protect my feet from the cold. When my feet were warm, my whole body would be warm as well. Although laptops and mobile phones have now replaced bulky and immobile desktops, and we can surf the Internet and play games while sitting in bed, the foot warmer is still my good partner. The heating temperature of the foot warmer is controlled to be slightly higher than the body temperature. This temperature makes our feet comfortable and also makes lactic acid bacteria like it very much. The most suitable fermentation temperature of lactic acid bacteria is 30~40℃. So, let’s give the foot warmer a new function and use it to make homemade yogurt!

  10. At the beginning, I covered a foam box, but because the foam box was a bit small and the bottom was not sealed, the thermometer showed 14°C after 1 hour, so I put old cotton clothes around the casserole and foot warmer. After sealing, the temperature rose to 35°C 1 hour later.

  11. After 8 hours of fermentation, the yogurt is ready. When it cools down, put it in the refrigerator and it will become thicker.

  12. There are many ways to eat yogurt, you can eat it with fruits, you can eat it with nuts, you can also soak it in cereals, mix it with salads, etc. I make it sugar-free, if you like sweets you can add sugar or honey.
