Spiced Peanuts
Overview
My neighbor next door went back to his hometown a while ago and brought back some home-grown peanuts and gave me a few kilograms of them, so I had the opportunity to try making them myself. The taste is still very good.

Wash the peanuts and pinch them into small openings

Prepare the marinated spices and set aside

Boil water in a pot. The amount of water must be enough to soak all the peanuts. Add salt, spices and bring to a boil.

Pour the peanuts into the pot and stir to make sure all the peanuts are soaked in the brine

Cover the pot, lower the heat to low and simmer slowly for 3-4 hours, allowing the peanuts to fully absorb the flavor of the marinade. When I make it, the house is really filled with fragrance.

After stewing for several hours, turn off the heat but continue to simmer without opening the lid. After about two hours, let it cool completely, remove the spices, scoop out the peanuts and enjoy. And the flavor becomes more and more fragrant.
