Peel the potatoes, cut into small pieces and steam them.

Steamed potatoes.

Heat oil in a pot and sauté ginger and garlic until fragrant.

Add the potato cubes and crush the potatoes with a spatula to turn into mashed potatoes.

Add the stock. If there is no stock, water will do.

Chop the greens. Radish leaves or pumpkin leaves are both good; I happen to have water spinach leaves at home, so I’ll use this.

After the soup boils, add an appropriate amount of salt and cook for a while.

Add chopped green cabbage leaves.

Add chicken essence and take out a soup bowl.
