Lazy chicken popcorn
Overview
When it comes to chicken popcorn, many people will probably think of KFC’s explosive chicken popcorn, right? I also learned about the snack chicken popcorn from KFC. In fact, the preparation of this fried snack is similar to other fried foods, and it is not difficult at all to make. The traditional process of fried food is: sizing and marinating → coating in starch → dipping in egg liquid → coating in bread crumbs → frying. But I'm lazy. Based on the principle of saving one step if I can, I modified the frying process and omitted 2 steps. I can still fry crispy and delicious chicken popcorn. If you want to eat chicken popcorn, you don't have to go to KFC anymore!

Cut the chicken breast into 1.5-2cm square pieces. Add all the ingredients except oil and bread crumbs to the chicken breast pieces. Knead evenly and stir vigorously in the same direction. Cover with plastic wrap and let stand for more than 15 minutes.

Pour half the bag of bread crumbs into a bowl and coat the battered chicken breasts in the bread crumbs.

Coat all chicken breast pieces with bread crumbs.

The oil temperature is heated to about 170°C, as shown in the picture.

Fry the chicken pieces in the oil for about 1 minute or until the chicken popcorn becomes golden brown.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the oil and place it on absorbent paper to absorb excess oil.
