bayberry drink
Overview
Bayberry is a summer fruit with a sour and attractive taste. The bayberry juice cooked with it is bright red in color, has an attractive taste, and has a variety of health effects. However, when many people buy it outside, they feel that the bayberry juice they buy is not pure, so they want to make it at home. Drinking the sweet and sour bayberry juice in the hot summer makes your body and mind feel particularly refreshed!

Steps
-
Fresh bayberry
-
Prepare bayberry and rock sugar. I added rock sugar in a ratio of 10:1. It will be sour and sweet after cooking. If you like sweeter rock sugar, you can increase the amount.
-
Soak bayberries in light salt water for half an hour. I heard that if there are any bugs, you can soak them in salt water. I didn’t see any bugs, but it’s better to be careful about what you eat.
-
Boil purified water in a pot, add rock sugar, and then add bayberry after the water boils and the rock sugar melts.
-
Drain the soaked bayberries and put them in a pot. Boil until the bayberries soften and the water turns red, then turn off the heat for about ten minutes.
-
After cooling naturally, pour it into a clean sealed jar and put it in the refrigerator. The longer it takes, the better the flavor will be and the more beautiful the color will be.

This was refrigerated overnight. The color is beautiful. I pretend I’m drinking red wine😄
