almond butter
Overview
In just two steps, you can make your own almond butter, peanut butter, tahini and other nut butters! Roast the nuts until they are cooked. After they are warm, stir them with a blender. The fat of the nuts themselves will gradually seep out, and then mix with the chopped nuts and beat into a paste. The prepared nut butter can be used to spread bread, mix noodles, and serve as a hot pot dipping sauce. They are all good choices. Let’s take almonds as an example.

-
Place the PARCHMENTPAPER on the baking sheet, put the almonds on it, spread it out, preheat the oven to 375F/190C, and bake until the almonds become slightly darker in color, about 8-10 minutes. Remember to adjust the position of the baking sheet during this period so that the almonds can be roasted evenly. After baking, remove and cool until warm, about 20 minutes; (It is best to cool the hot almonds on another room temperature baking sheet)
-
Put the almonds into the blender and beat for 1 minute. At this time, the almonds are powdered. Gently scrape them with a spoon and add a little salt
-
Continue stirring for 3-4 minutes (after 2 minutes, the oil in the almonds will gradually seep out) until it becomes a paste, and the almond butter is ready.
