Handmade Nougat
Overview
Now that I have a baby at home, I already like to eat and have more motivation to experiment with food. Nougat, my favorite snack when I was a kid.

A large collection of raw materials. There is also nougat packaging.

Cut unsalted butter into small pieces and melt over low heat.

After the butter has melted, add the marshmallows, and stir the marshmallows until they melt. It should take about six minutes. Be sure to use low heat and stir constantly, otherwise it will burn.

After all the marshmallows have melted, add the milk powder in three batches (you can also add some chocolate powder or matcha powder)

Keep stirring until the dough can be lifted from the non-stick pan.

Pour in the chopped peanuts and stir evenly. You can also add various chopped nuts and cranberries.

Place into a mold lined with oil paper

Press and shape, then let cool and cut into pieces when your hands are not hot to the touch.
