Oatmeal porridge
Overview
Oatmeal is rolled from oat grains and is flat, about the same diameter as a soybean grain, and has a complete shape. It was originally used to make snacks, but you don’t need so much snacks. It’s also good for making porridge. Oatmeal is highly viscous when cooked, which is caused by the healthy component beta glucan. Its effects of lowering blood lipids, lowering blood sugar, and increasing satiety are closely related to this viscous substance. This porridge can be used as breakfast to nourish the spleen and stomach and strengthen qi. It is suitable for patients with physical weakness after illness, indigestion, loss of appetite, fatigue, constipation and other diseases. The porridge cooked with water in an electric stew pot looks like soup and rice when the lid is removed. It is very light. However, when it is put into a bowl, it becomes sticky.
