Steps
-
Wash and cut the taro into cubes and steam it in a pot. You can cut it into small cubes to make it easier to press into puree. I have some that I want to dip in sugar to eat.
-
After steaming, weigh 170 grams. Add sugar, milk, and light cream according to personal taste. Just don't make it too thin. (The amounts I put in are 25 grams, 20 grams, and 20 grams respectively)
-
Take out the homemade puff pastry dough from the refrigerator and soften it slightly before rolling it out.
-
Repeat folding the quilt once more and roll it into a rectangle again.
-
You can make two pies from the long dough sheet, the picture shows two slices of one.
-
Spread taro paste evenly on two of the pieces, and draw flowers on the other two pieces.
-
Gently cover the surface of the taro paste with the drawn dough sheet, and press lightly with a fork to stick it together.
-
Line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper and place the shaped pie. The first time I used a flower drawstring device, it was obvious that the second time (right hand side) looked better.
-
Place in the middle rack of a preheated 180 degree oven for 18 minutes.
