Steps
-
Rub the skin of the yellow lemon with salt, clean it and set aside.
-
Cut the lemon into 0.5cm thin slices. Use a toothpick to remove the seeds. Cut off a section of the head and tail of the lemon that has no pulp but only a white film. The seeds and the white film at the head and tail are the main sources of bitterness and must be dealt with cleanly.
-
Only use the middle part with more pulp and less white film.
-
Put the yellow lemon slices, rock sugar and a pinch of salt into the bread machine, and use the candied fruit setting to process. You can make the rock sugar smaller, or you can stir it carefully after the juice is released so that the yellow rock sugar can be immersed in the juice to facilitate melting.
-
After the process is completed, put the prepared lemons into sealed jars that have been sterilized without water or oil.
-
Let cool slightly and sprinkle with rose petals.
-
Then cover with a thick layer of flower honey.
-
Seal and marinate for 2 days, allowing the honey to soak in slowly.
-
When brewing, add a lemon slice and scoop some honey from the jar.
-
Brew with warm water.
-
Sweet and sour, with an elegant rose fragrance, it is very delicious!
