Homemade loquat paste
Overview
I went to the countryside for a few days and picked a lot of loquats. I couldn't finish them all at once, so I made loquat paste. I saw that many recipes were cooked in a pot, which I thought was quite troublesome. I happened to have a bread machine at home with a jam function, so I tried making loquat paste. It is indeed very labor-saving! What I made myself was delicious. It took three programs and took more than three hours, because loquats have a lot of water.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Go and lift the loquat.
-
Soak in water for fifteen minutes and rinse.
-
Peel the loquats. The cored loquats should be soaked in water, otherwise they will change color quickly, so there is no need to peel them.
-
Then control the moisture.
-
Then put the loquats into a basin, add a layer of loquat flesh, a layer of sugar and honey until all the ingredients are placed in one basin. Then leave it for half an hour to absorb the flavor. By then, the sugar will almost turn into sugar water.
-
Then put the loquat in the food processor and beat it into a puree, beat it several times, and pour a little bit of the newly melted sugar water into it each time, so that it can be beaten faster and finer.
-
After everything is beaten, pour the loquat puree into the bread machine.
-
Then select the jam program of the bread machine. One program is not enough, because the loquat contains more water. I used three programs. The drier the juice is, the thicker the loquat paste will be. With a crisp sound of beep beep, the loquat paste is ready.
