Steps
-
Prepare the materials.
-
Wash the cherries, soak them in cold water with a little salt for 3 minutes, then drain the water and set aside.
-
Add 30ML water to white jelly and mix evenly.
-
Put 400ML of water and rock sugar into the pot and wait for it to boil.
-
Remove the stems of the cherries, and use a toothpick to gently insert it against the edge of the cup. This is where the white jelly liquid will be put in later and the cherries will float and tilt. You can use your hands to slightly fix the position.
-
After the water boils, pour in the white jelly liquid.
-
Pour in the white jelly liquid and stir evenly to bring to a boil.
-
Then pour half of the cooked white jelly liquid into the container.
-
Wait for 1 minute to cool slightly, then add red wine and stir evenly,
-
After cooling, place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
-
The red wine jelly is ready. Start spooning the white jelly liquid into the cup containing the cherries. Just make sure the white jelly liquid just covers the cherries. Do not add too much otherwise the cherries will float.
-
If the cherry is not fixed, you can use toothpicks to fix the cherry in place. After the white jelly solidifies, use another toothpick to gently push against the top of the cherry and then take out the toothpick just fixed in position.
-
This way the cherry is fixed in the middle.
-
After 1 hour, take the red wine and white jelly out of the refrigerator.
-
Score the jelly with a table knife. Then divide the jelly into pieces irregularly.
-
The jelly looks like crushed ice cubes.
-
Use a spoon to slowly add it to the white jelly.
-
In this way, the shiny red wine jelly is completed.
