Sweet Roasted Chestnuts
Overview
Every ingredient has its own life cycle, and chestnuts are the same. From the time they are just ripe to the end of harvest, chestnuts taste particularly good during this period. Chestnuts that have just been peeled off their shells are shiny and fresh. This is when they taste the most beautiful. Roasting chestnuts is my favorite way to eat them. Fresh chestnuts do not need to be added with sugar or honey. The sweet smell alone makes people feel particularly satisfied. In late autumn, the chestnut harvest is coming to an end, so I rush to eat roasted chestnuts again. Chestnuts are rich in nutrients and contain trace elements such as protein, sugar, calcium, phosphorus, iron, and potassium. Chestnuts can satisfy hunger and promote fat metabolism. When choosing chestnuts, be sure to choose ones with shiny shells like the one in the picture below. These chestnuts are very fresh and have few bad fruits. If the skin of the chestnuts looks a little dry, the taste will be lacking.
