Ingredients
Steps
-
Pumpkin is steamed and made into pumpkin puree. Different pumpkin varieties have different water contents.
-
Add appropriate amount of plain flour.
-
First use chopsticks to stir into a fluffy consistency.
-
To form a dough of moderate hardness and softness, the proportion of flour should be controlled according to the water content of the pumpkin, and fermented in a warm place until doubled in size.
-
Poke a hole with your hand. If there is no shrinkage, the fermentation is successful.
-
Knead thoroughly to exhaust air.
-
Divide the dough into several pieces, roll into balls and knead evenly.
-
Take one and flatten it into a round piece.
-
Fold three sides to form an equilateral triangle as shown in the picture.
-
Turn over.
-
Add appropriate amount of brown sugar.
-
Hold the dough with your left hand and pinch the tip with three fingers of your right hand.
-
Then pinch the three sides tightly to make sure there is no leakage, otherwise the sugar will flow out when steaming, which is terrible.
-
After everything is done, put it in a steamer to rise for fifteen minutes. I made two layers, with a sausage roll on top.
-
Steam for twenty minutes over high heat, then turn off the heat. Wait five minutes before opening the pot again to prevent the surface from shrinking and wrinkling.
-
It’s out of the pot!
