  1. Add 600mL of water to the pot and bring to a boil, then add sago.

  2. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until the sago becomes half cooked, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. After 10 minutes, the sago should be completely transparent.

  4. Pour it out into cold water and set aside.

  5. Add 400mL of water to the pot again, add 100mL of coconut milk and 6 tablespoons of brown sugar and bring to a boil.

  6. Add the drained sago and bring to a boil.

  7. The color of the cooked sago will be clearer, so you can add 30mL of milk to adjust the color.
