Bean paste rice dumplings
Overview
To change the taste, I added some bean paste filling, which is very delicious. Be sure to choose a harder bean paste so that it won’t stick to your hands when handling. If you have time, you can also fry the bean paste yourself

Soak the glutinous rice in advance

Divide the bean paste into 25g pieces and form into round balls

Boil the dried rice dumpling leaves in water, take them out, and then soak them in water. Use scissors to cut off the roots when wrapping

Fold the rice dumpling leaves into a funnel shape

Add glutinous rice and bean paste filling

Put some glutinous rice on top

Wrap it well and tie it firmly with rope

Put the wrapped rice dumplings into the pot, fill with water and pour over the rice dumplings, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to medium to low heat and simmer for about 2 hours. Simmer the cooked rice dumplings in the soup overnight, the rice will be especially sticky and delicious
