Pomelo peel candy
Overview
I especially like to eat grapefruit. Every time after eating grapefruit, I make grapefruit honey tea from the grapefruit peel. I made this grapefruit peel candy for the first time this year. I can’t believe it, I really can’t believe it. It’s really delicious. I highly recommend this to my friends. Action is worse than excitement. Come and take a look:

Ingredients
Steps
-
Before cutting the grapefruit, the skin should be washed repeatedly with salt, then cut open and the white substance inside should be removed.
-
I soaked it in light salt water overnight (an hour is fine) and changed the water several times
-
Cut into strips and rinse
-
Squeeze out the water
-
Prepare lemon juice (you can use fresh lemon, you can also add it if you don’t have it) 100 grams of rock sugar
-
Add appropriate amount of water to the pot, add rock sugar, cook until melted
-
Add grapefruit peel and simmer over low heat
-
Boil the pot dry (but do not burn it) until it becomes transparent. It’s delicious when you eat it now
-
Place in baking pan
-
Bake in the oven at 100 degrees for 40 minutes. Microwave for a few minutes without an oven (the purpose is to make it slightly dry)
-
Out of the oven. You can sprinkle sugar on the surface. The amount of rock sugar I gave is very accurate, and it feels sweet enough, so I don’t need to add granulated sugar.
