Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the grapefruit with salt and start peeling it. Peeling the grapefruit is a tiring job. Peel all the yellow parts of the grapefruit. The white part is particularly bitter, so try not to peel it
-
Cut the grapefruit peel into thin strips, add salt and squeeze until soft, and pour water. Repeat three to five times (you can put it in the refrigerator for another day). Blanch until soft and let cool. The processed grapefruit peel has almost no bitter taste
-
Break the grapefruit pulp into small pieces, or you can use a food processor to break it. In fact, if you don’t break it, it will naturally break into pieces when cooked
-
Put the grapefruit in a casserole, add a little water, rock sugar, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer
-
Add the processed grapefruit peel and cook together
-
After about an hour, cook until there is no water and the color is golden and transparent
-
Let cool, bottle and refrigerate, and you can enjoy it in three to five days
