Overview
I bought a piece of fat meat and boiled it in oil for making egg yolk cakes. I also recorded the process and shared with you how to make good lard😄

Cut the fat into thin slices

Put half a small bowl of water in the pot, and then add sliced fat

Simmer over low heat until oil begins to come out, then add ginger slices and Sichuan peppercorns

Continue to simmer over low heat until the oil residue begins to turn yellow

Use a slotted spoon to scoop out the oily residue. If you like to eat the oily residue, you can add sugar or soy sauce while it is hot and eat it now, or you can save it for cooking.

Add a spoonful of salt while it's hot to prevent deterioration, and pour the cooked lard into a jar
