Jujube popsicles
Overview
In the hot summer, making your own popsicles must not only be cool and delicious, but also pay attention to nutrition. While enjoying the cool and delicious popsicles, you must not let the nutrition be unbalanced and affect your health. Most of the popsicles I make use honey as the sweetener. Today's version is for jujube puree. Because rock sugar is added to the jujube puree, this popsicle does not have any added sweetness. But it tastes pretty sweet. It has a strong jujube aroma, which is my favorite flavor.

Ingredients
Steps
-
This ice cream needs to add some starch, I used water chestnut powder and soaked it with a little milk. Try not to soak starch in water to avoid diluting the taste
-
Warm the milk, pour in the water chestnut powder, stir quickly and evenly. Cook over low heat until bubbling, then turn off the heat when it is almost boiling,
-
Boiled milk becomes thicker after adding starch.
-
.Add the jujube paste you made in advance to the milk,
-
Stir thoroughly and it will become thicker after adding jujube paste. The popsicles made with this paste also have a very strong flavor
-
After cooling, place into the mold, cover and place in the refrigerator to freeze for more than 4 hours. , the frozen popsicles can be easily demolded after taking them out and leaving them at room temperature for 1-2 minutes.
