[New Year’s Food] Handmade Peanut Nougat – Simple Marshmallow Version
Overview
Everyone calls me Orange~ It has been more than half a year since I started baking. From cookies to cakes, from failure to success, I think everyone who likes baking has experienced this experience... Before I know it, I have saved a lot of production photos in my computer~ I have always wanted to post them, but I always give myself various excuses and put them off... 2012 has passed, 2013 has come, and I have made up my mind to upload them! This is my first time posting in the food world. I didn’t do it well. Please give me some advice~ I have been struggling for a long time. Should I post cookies, cakes, or something else... I made a candy a few days ago and found that it is too simple. Okay, let’s start with the simplest one...

Steps
-
Prepare materials.
-
Fry the peanuts; weigh the peanuts, put them into the pot, stir-fry over low heat, then peel the peanuts and divide them into two halves (you can also break them slightly, depending on your personal preference). (Be careful not to burn it, just smell the aroma). Or even simpler, just buy cooked peanuts and skip the step of frying them.
-
Pour the marshmallows into a slightly larger container, put it in the microwave, and microwave on high heat for 40 seconds - 60 seconds.
-
After the marshmallows are microwaved, take them out immediately, pour in the peanuts and milk powder, and stir vigorously with chopsticks. (If you feel it’s too hard, you can put it back in the microwave and heat it for a few dozen seconds)
-
After mixing well, knead the dough with your hands, put it into a square container, sprinkle some milk powder on it, and flatten it firmly. (It is best to put plastic wrap or oil paper inside the mold. If you use plastic wrap, sprinkle some milk powder or apply some oil to prevent sticking)
-
Put it in the refrigerator for a while, then take it out and cut it into pieces after it hardens (I did it again today and found that the best effect is to cut it out after the dough is flattened but not completely cold). You're done!

You’re done!

Later, I made corn-flavored ones again (actually, the marshmallows are corn-flavored, because this is the only one in the supermarket in the neighborhood, haha)
