Lemon roasted chestnuts
Overview
It’s chestnut season again, so I came up with a little trick to peel the chestnuts easily. I haven’t tried it yet, so I don’t know. In fact, it tastes better if it is steamed first and then grilled.

Steps
-
Prepare all ingredients.
-
Soak the chestnuts in water and set aside.
-
Use a chopstick to hold the chestnut and press the end of the knife toward the chestnut.
-
Gently tap the chestnuts to open their shells.
-
Then put the opened chestnuts into the steamer and steam them over water until the shells are opened and cooked.
-
After steaming, it will look like the picture. The shell is very good. Add a teaspoon of lemon paste. (If you don’t have lemon paste, you can also use honey)
-
Stir until each chestnut is coated with lemon paste.
-
Bake in the oven at 220 degrees for 5 minutes.

This completes this lemon roasted chestnut dish.
