Cranberry Peanut Nougat (Bread Machine Version)
Overview
Winter is coming, and I, who don’t like sweets, start looking for snacks when one o’clock comes, so I started making nougat to store up calories for my body. The full milky flavor paired with crispy peanuts and sour cranberries makes it sour and sweet, so delicious. Make some homemade ones and give them to friends and relatives, and you will have a full sense of accomplishment.

Steps
-
Pour the peanuts into the bread machine and turn on the stir fry function.
-
The bread machine is heated first and then stir-fried. When the time reaches 35 minutes, the peanuts are cooked and crispy and fragrant. The program is ended in advance, and the peanuts are poured out to cool, and the red skin is rubbed off and set aside.
-
Put the butter into the bread machine and turn on the stir-frying function. The butter will melt as the bread barrel heats up.
-
Pour in the marshmallows, and when the program reaches 15 minutes, the bread machine will start stirring.
-
After the marshmallows and butter are mixed evenly, add the milk powder and continue mixing.
-
When the milk powder is stirred evenly, pour in the peanuts and crushed cranberries, and continue stirring. You can use the power of a spatula to reach the edges that cannot be stirred.
-
After stirring evenly, pour the nougat into the French bakery nougat mold while it is hot, put it on a silicone pad, flatten it with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 1 cm, and put it in the refrigerator to set for more than 30 minutes.
-
Take out the shaped nougat, cut it into corresponding strips with the small wooden strips in the mold, and wrap it in glutinous rice paper.
-
Wrap it in beautiful candy wrapper and you're done.
-
Making your own sweets brings back many childhood memories.
-
Do you feel a small sense of accomplishment? It's so delicious that I can't stop eating it.
