Salted Chestnut Butter Floss Cake
Overview
Make a cake to reward yourself on your birthday. I had some leftover chestnut paste from making chestnut cake two days ago, so I added it to the salted butter and sprinkled it with homemade meat floss. It was so delicious.

Ingredients
Steps
-
8-inch tall chiffon cake
-
Cut into 3 slices. (In a hurry, the cake was removed from the mold before it cooled down and sliced. It was too soft and difficult to cut.)
-
Beat the light cream with salt. (Because the chestnut jam is sweet, I didn’t add sugar. If there is no chestnut jam, add some sugar to the whipped cream.)
-
Chestnut jam left over from making chestnut cake two days ago.
-
Put the chestnut paste into the whipped cream.
-
Beat at high speed until smooth.
-
Place a piece of cake on a cake tray and spread chestnut cream.
-
Sprinkle with meat floss.
-
Apply more cream.
-
Cover with another piece of cake and repeat the above steps, finally spreading butter on the surface of the cake.
-
Cover the cake with meat floss. (Put the floss on a large plate, hold the cake with one hand, and stick the floss to the cake with the other hand. The excess meat floss will fall off. The same is done for almond slices, etc.)
-
If you make your own meat floss, you can add more of it without feeling distressed.
-
Finally, add fruits or other decorations as you like.
