Prepare the ingredients, the butter should be completely softened
-
Stir the completely softened butter until it becomes a paste
-
Add sifted icing sugar, vanilla extract and salt and stir until smooth
-
Add sifted all-purpose flour and slowly mix with a rubber spatula until the batter resembles sand
-
Put the batter on a clean work surface and push it once, kneading the dough as little as possible, so that the shortbread will be very crispy
-
Then roll the batter into a ball, flatten it, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for an hour
-
Let the frozen batter warm up slightly, spread a small amount of flour on the work surface, and roll out the batter to a thickness of about one centimeter through plastic wrap
-
The cookie cutter presses out the shape, collecting and rolling out the remaining batter to press more shortbread
-
Poke small holes with a fork to ensure even baking of the shortbread, then place in the oven at 150 degrees Celsius for 20 to 25 minutes or until the edges of the shortbread are slightly brown
-
Wait for the shortbread to cool completely
-
Cut the chocolate into small pieces
-
Take out half of the chocolate and heat it over water until it is completely melted, then remove from the heat. Pour the remaining half of the chocolate into the melted chocolate and stir slowly until it is completely melted and shiny
-
Dip into cooled shortbread
-
Wait for the chocolate to solidify, or put the pastry in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes to speed up the solidification. The incredibly crisp pastry is ready
