Colleagues opened up a piece of wasteland downstairs and bought corn, vegetables and edamame. These two days are officially the season for eating edamame. If you don't eat it, you will miss it for a year.

  1. Wash the edamame and put it in a pot with appropriate amount of water and cinnamon leaves.

  2. Add salt and cooking wine.

  3. Star anise, pepper and other condiments.

  4. Add the chilli at the end.

  5. Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for 5 minutes for half an hour to get more flavor.
