Honey grapefruit tea
Overview
Now is the season for eating grapefruit. I have to eat one grapefruit for several days at a time, so I thought it would be better to make grapefruit tea without wasting the skin. I haven’t had many grapefruit teas from outside, so I don’t have much comparison, but I feel more at ease when I make my own. It has a very refreshing grapefruit flavor, which is quite nice. Friends, please try it when you have time😋😋

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the grapefruit with salt, cut off the skin thinly, and then cut it into shreds. If you have good knife skills, it is best to cut it very finely (I use the entire skin of the grapefruit. The finer the shreds, the more beautiful the final product will be)
-
Soak the cut grapefruit peel in light salt water for half an hour. Break the grapefruit into small pieces and set aside. (Used 1/3 of the whole grapefruit)
-
Put the grapefruit peel into the pot, add water until the grapefruit peel is covered, and turn on high heat
-
After the mixture comes to a boil over high heat, add the grapefruit meat and 100g of rock sugar and bring to a boil. Turn to low heat and simmer until thick, stirring occasionally. (I cooked it for about 50 minutes)
-
After it is boiled like this, there is still a little moisture, but it is not too dry. Turn off the heat and let it cool
-
Use a spoon to stretch it out until it becomes
-
After cooling, add 300g honey and mix well.

The prepared grapefruit tea is put into a sealed box, and it is very convenient to take a spoonful when drinking.
