I had to make an authentic Black Forest this time, so I just tasted three cherries for my husband and my oldest friend and then put them away. When I have a holiday on Saturday, I will take them out and process them and cook them and pickle them. Haha, I can rest assured that I won’t eat them secretly. The maraschino cherries are cooked with white wine and lemon to enhance the flavor and then refrigerated to taste really good. They are only cooked on low heat for 25 minutes in total. The texture is crisp but not soft, which is very delicious. Especially the cooked juice is beautiful, as tempting as red wine;
