Fruit DIY gives your baby a different little fish

Overview

Sometimes I like to make a platter with fruits, not only for the sake of beauty, but also because if you change the appearance of some ingredients, the baby will change from accepting them to accepting them. Take apples for example. No one would have thought that my family always eats steamed apples. I basically don’t eat fresh apples. I remember that the first time she ate fresh apples was because of the apple blossoms I made. (Friends who have posted this before can read it yourself.) The apples were cut into strips and arranged into a flower. The girl liked to make an exception and ate two apples. Since then, she has also accepted fresh apples, so sometimes, what is needed is a little change. I said to the baby, this is a fish with only bones and no meat. Where is the fish? I ate it, haha. This platter is very simple and easy to learn. Let’s take a look at the steps.

  1. Use a fruit knife to cut two slices as shown in the figure, using the top of the apple to be larger and the bottom to be smaller. The cut fruit slices will be a triangle. Of course, you can also directly cut a triangle with a fruit knife. Cut into two pieces as shown in the picture, so that is the fish head, and then arrange it on the plate.

  2. Next, make the body of the fish and cut the apple into strips.

  3. Arrange the apple strips one by one behind the fish head to form a fish bone. The apple strips at the back are smaller than the ones at the front.

  4. Next, use an apple to cut out the spine of the fish, which is a small strip, and then arrange the strips section by section, and the whole fish will be ready.

  5. The baby said that he wanted some wavy ones, so I cut some out of apple strips. After laying them out, I found that they were actually very monotonous. So far, the baby has eaten half of an apple. She eats it while watching me lay it out, haha.

  6. I used chocolate to draw the eyes of the fish, and I also drew a fishhook. This can be used for whatever you have at home. Tomato sauce, seaweed, and fruit sauce are optional. The overall feeling is monotonous, so I used cherries to place two small flowers. As for the rest, use your imagination to arrange some flower patterns as you like.
