Roasted Pumpkin

Roasted Pumpkin

Overview

My family loves pumpkins very much. I buy a big long pumpkin whole every time. I can eat it steamed, porridge, rice cereal, pumpkin juice, or steamed and kneaded to make steamed buns, bread, and cakes. I have basically tried every way to eat it. A few days ago, it suddenly occurred to me that I had never tried roasted pumpkin. I happened to have a newly purchased large pumpkin that I hadn’t cut yet, so I quickly cut a small piece to try it. Unexpectedly, it tasted great! Even my mother-in-law said it was delicious. You know, it is not easy to get the elderly to accept the new way of eating! The key point is that this method is very simple. Just mix the pumpkin and put it in the air fryer, then turn on the power and forget about it. Adding some garlic cloves adds a bit of garlic flavor to the pumpkin, and the roasted garlic itself is also delicious.

  5. Place a piece of baking paper in the basket of the air fryer (you don’t have to add it, but you need to clean the basket, so I put a piece of baking paper in order not to wash the basket), pour the mixed pumpkin and garlic cloves into it and spread it out;

  6. Air fryer at 200 degrees, about 20 minutes (the specific time depends on the size of the pumpkin, you can pull out the frying basket to check the status to determine the length of time)

  8. Cut it out and put it in a small bowl, and you’re ready to eat! The pumpkin noodles baked in this way are sweet and slightly salty, not greasy, and have a different flavor from the steamed pumpkin, because there is garlic in it, which adds a little bit of garlic flavor. The skin of the garlic roasted in this way is removed, and the inside is browned, soft and fragrant without any spicy taste. It is also very delicious. My little girl ate a lot of it!

  9. I have nothing to do on the weekend, and I don’t want to eat roasted sweet potatoes or roasted potatoes anymore, so let’s have some roasted pumpkin! As for the benefits of pumpkin, there are too many introductions on the Internet, so I won’t excerpt them. If you are interested, take a look. Whole grains are good ingredients for health, which are recommended by many nutritionists! If you like to eat pumpkin, in addition to steaming, you can also try this great method!
