Pumpkin Fancy Peanut Buns
Overview
The shapes of sugar buns are very monotonous. Today, we use the rose recipe, knead the dough with pumpkin puree, and use peanuts as filling to make a round, plump pumpkin-style peanut bun. It is very fluffy, sweet, and looks very cute.

Steps
-
Mix flour and yeast powder, add pumpkin puree, and knead with your hands while adding to form a smooth dough.
-
Knead the dough until the surface is smooth. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
-
Dip your index finger in flour and poke a hole in the middle. If the hole does not collapse or shrink back, or you can see that the inside of the dough has formed a honeycomb shape, it is ready to ferment.
-
Knead the fermented dough until the surface is smooth and cut into dough balls of similar size.
-
Roll out the small dough into a bun wrapper, wrap it with peanut filling, seal it, make it into a round ball, with the seam side facing down.
-
Take an appropriate amount of dough and divide it into equal portions to make small flowers. According to the general method of making roses, roll the small pieces into round skins, arrange them in groups of 4-5 in order, press them with chopsticks in the middle, and roll them up from bottom to top.
-
After rolling, cut it in the middle, face up, and arrange it with your hands to make a small flower.
-
Dip some water at the bottom of the florets and stick them on the stuffed buns, OK.
-
After wrapping the buns, place them on a steamer covered with a drawer cloth. There should be a gap in the middle, because they will grow bigger during steaming. Let the steamed buns rise for 20-30 minutes for the second time until the buns become larger and plumper.
-
Bring the water to a boil over high heat, steam over medium heat for 20 minutes, turn off the heat, and simmer for 5 minutes before uncovering the pot.
