Get the pineapple and shrimp ready.

Cut the pineapple into small pieces.

Peel and devein the shrimp.

Cut the shrimp through the back without cutting through.

Add a small spoonful of salt, a small spoonful of sugar, and a spoonful of very fresh soy sauce.
