Steps
-
To prepare the ingredients, I used shrimp paste ground with fresh shrimps, so I had to add salt to it. If you use bottled shrimp paste, you don’t need to add any more salt.
-
For pork, I use neck white meat, but you can also use pork belly, according to personal preference. Cut the meat into slightly larger cubes. Shred the green onion and dried chili pepper, mince the ginger and set aside.
-
Add pork and shrimp paste together, mix well, add salt, chopped green onion, minced ginger, and shredded chili pepper.
-
Add water to the steamer and bring it to a boil. Add the meat. I use a stainless steel plate, so it will be cooked after steaming over high heat for 10 minutes. Drizzle with sesame oil and serve.
