Split the vanilla pod with a knife and scrape out the seeds into the creamy milk.

Bring the cream milk to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent it from sticking to the pan.

Prepare egg yolks and sugar.

Mix egg yolks and sugar evenly.

Slowly pour the boiled cream milk into the egg yolk batter and stir evenly.

Cook over low heat until the ice cream paste thickens, stirring constantly to prevent it from sticking to the pan.

Prepare a basin of ice water.

Dip the thick ice cream batter into ice water to cool quickly.

Remove the frozen ice bucket from the refrigerator.

Strain the ice cream batter through a strainer.
