Bird's nest, lily and lotus seed soup
Overview
BirdNestwithLotusTongShui The weather has been very hot recently. Although it rains heavily every afternoon, it still feels very hot and dry. Everyone knows that lotus seeds, lilies, and snow fungus all have the effect of nourishing and beautifying the skin; therefore, ladies, children and adults alike can achieve the same effect. Bird's nest has the function of beautifying the skin and moisturizing the lungs. I bought some wild bird's nests from Indonesia a while ago. If the bird's nest I bought is processed, I don't think it is very good. The cleaning process of buying unprocessed bird's nest is very troublesome, so I chose semi-processed bird's nest. After buying it home, soak and sift the feathers a little, then clean them and soak them overnight. Since this bird's nest is a wild bird's nest, not a cultured bird's nest, it tastes richer than the bird's nest. This dessert is made in a slow cooker over low heat. In the past, it was stewed plainly. This time I used this method and added lotus seeds, lily and snow fungus. It tastes great.

-
Prepare the ingredients, wash the bird's nest and soak until soft and set aside; remove the core of the red dates.

Soak the white fungus until soft, shred it and set aside. I used large white fungus. If the color is yellow, it is recommended to use yellowish white fungus for better quality.
-
Put water in the pot, add lotus seeds, red dates, dried longan and snow fungus into the pot.
-
After the fire boils, turn to low heat for 300 minutes.

After 30 minutes, add dried lilies and bird's nest and continue to simmer on low heat for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, add an appropriate amount of rock sugar and serve.
