Overview
Carrot cake, as one of the most popular varieties of Cantonese New Year pastries, has now become a pastry that can be eaten all year round. However, the sweetness of radish in winter is unmatched by radish produced in other times. In addition, traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes eating radish in winter and ginger in summer.
