Hazelnut pastry
Overview
This recipe is adapted from Teacher Meng’s nut cake. Teacher Meng used walnut kernels and almond slices. These two things are more troublesome to prepare, but hazelnuts are much more readily available. I had an idea and made hazelnut cake instead. Very fragrant.

Prepare materials

Place hazelnuts and icing sugar into a food processor

Beat into powder

Soften butter, add powdered sugar, and mix well with a rubber spatula

Use a whisk to beat evenly

Add whole eggs one at a time and beat with a whisk

Mix low-gluten flour and baking powder, sift into the egg batter,

Add hazelnut powder

Mix well

Put it into a piping bag and cut a small opening at the sharp corner

Pipe out patterns on the baking sheet

Put in the oven, middle layer, heat up and down at 170 degrees, bake for about 20 minutes, turn off the heat and continue to simmer for 10 minutes
