Spiced edamame
Overview
I haven’t finished eating the edamame I brought from home. I’ve been eating shelled edamame for several days and suddenly wanted to try the taste of shelled edamame.

Steps
-
Rinse star anise, cinnamon and dried chili pepper with cold water. Take this opportunity to tidy up the edamame: cut off both ends of the edamame (to facilitate flavoring) and wash them clean. Peel a few pieces of garlic.
-
Add water to the pot, add the blanched star anise, cinnamon, dried chili peppers and peeled garlic and cook over high heat.
-
When the water boils, add the washed shelled edamame beans with both ends cut off and cook together.
-
When the water boils for the second time, add seasoning salt (you may consider adding more depending on the amount of water). At the same time, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot and cook for about 15 minutes, then turn off the heat. Don't rush to pick up the edamame after turning off the heat. Leave it in the pot for about an hour before picking it up. At this time, you can enjoy the food.
