Ingredients
Steps
-
Drain the purchased abalone.
-
Use a knife to separate the abalone from the shell, use a small brush to clean the inside and outside of the abalone shell, dry it and set aside.
-
Remove the guts from the abalone, wash it, drain the water, and cut cross patterns on the surface of the abalone. Be careful not to cut off the abalone when using the knife.
-
Prepare ginger, garlic and pepper.
-
Mince the ginger and garlic, and cut the pepper into small pieces.
-
Put the cross-cut abalone back into the shell, take some minced ginger and garlic and put it on the abalone. Put water in the steamer and bring it to a boil over high heat. Place the abalone on a plate and place it on the basket. Steam over high heat for 5 minutes and turn off the heat. Wait for 1-2 minutes to open the lid. When opening the lid, be careful not to let the water on the lid flow into the abalone.
-
Heat the pot, add an appropriate amount of oil, and when the oil is hot, add the remaining ginger, minced garlic and pepper sections, stir-fry over low heat until fragrant.
-
Pour the ginger, garlic, and pepper along with the oil in the above steps onto the abalone while it's still hot, and start enjoying the original garlic-flavored abalone.
