Brown sugar glutinous rice cake
Overview
I like to buy the sauerkraut from the lady at the gate of the community. It’s very fragrant. I think her sauerkraut water has been there for many years. I really wanted to ask her for some, but I didn’t ask because I was afraid that she wouldn’t give it to me. Haha. I'll think of a way to get some back some other time. I went to buy sauerkraut again, and found that she also bought glutinous rice cake. She made it by herself. It didn't look so delicate, but it was definitely real. Mima bought a piece. There was an aunt next to me who kept praising how delicious it was. When I asked how to eat it, the aunt said to fry it first and then put sugar in it after frying until brown. It was delicious. Or it would be easier to fry it until brown, then dissolve the sugar in water and put it in a pot to simmer. Mima is going to try this method, but replace the white sugar with brown sugar, and it's quite delicious. It doesn’t matter how complicated the food is, sometimes even simple methods can produce delicious food!
