Margaret Cookies
Overview
I saw this biscuit in Bo Hui’s recipe book. It’s simple and easy to learn, so I learned to make it well and post pictures online to increase the confidence of novice friends. The link can't be found. I hope Bo Hui doesn't mind

Ingredients
Steps
-
Have materials ready.
-
Cut butter into small pieces and soften.
-
After the butter has softened, add powdered sugar and salt
-
Use a whisk to beat until the volume is slightly enlarged and the color becomes slightly lighter white and fluffy.
-
I forgot to take a picture of the egg yolk powder, add it and stir evenly.
-
Stir evenly and then add sifted low-gluten flour and cornstarch.
-
Just grab it into a ball with your hands, no need to be gentle. Wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.
-
After refrigeration, take it out and divide it into small portions. The weight of each portion is 8 grams. Then roll it into a small round and place it on the baking paper. It will break when you press it with your thumb.
-
Preheat the oven and heat the oven to 170 degrees for 15 minutes. The finished product is as pictured above.
